LALDEF Partners with The Bag Project

The Bag Project, bringing resources to infants, children and teenagers across New Jersey, was established to provide life sustaining and comfort items to these populations following a traumatic event. To date, The Bag Project has provided 2,750+ emergency bags and 1,150 activity bags. By partnering with The Bag Project, LALDEF hopes to expand the impact of the program to the immigrant population of Mercer County.

Each bag is filled with age appropriate items, ranging from hygiene products to stuffed animals. By giving bags to infants, children and teenagers, The Bag Project connects them to tangible resources, emotional comfort, and a bag to safely store their belongings.

LALDEF will serve as a distribution site for The Bag Project. Bags are available to any family in need at 714-716 S. Clinton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08611. If you know a family in need, please help them connect with us! To learn more about The Bag Project, visit thebagproject.org.
