We need you now more than ever.
Our thanks to everyone who has checked in with us to ask how they can help during these challenging times. Knowing that we have your support makes all the difference in the world!
Yes, we are experiencing an increasing demand for our services, and we are in the process of expanding our immigration legal services, thanks in part to a grant from The Bunbury Fund of the Princeton Area Community Foundation.
As we increase our ability to serve, we realize there is no better time to revisit and refresh our Strategic Plan. We have accelerated our work in this regard and look forward to sharing a refreshed and actionable plan with our supporters this Summer.
While it is important to properly plan, please know the vision of the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF) remains as clear as ever! With a focus on the Latin American communities in the Mercer County area, our mission is to promote the rights of all immigrants; facilitate access to health care, education and legal representation; advocate for the integration of immigrants; and foster intercultural communication to strengthen our communities.
Please make a donation if you can! While LALDEF has been an effective agent of change in our community for over 20 years, there has never been a more important time for our organization than the present moment. We are only successful when we work together. While donations are most needed, we also need more skilled volunteers in our classrooms.
In closing, thank you for keeping us in your thoughts…the care you extend strengthens all we do!
