As 2025 comes to a close, the LALDEF team has been reflecting on the milestones and meaningful moments that have made this year so memorable. One of our most satisfying achievements was the approval and launch of our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan.
Our Board of Trustees and Staff have worked diligently to craft a plan that is both rooted in the realities of today and boldly oriented toward the future we envision. This framework reflects our enduring commitment to the communities we serve and lays out a clear roadmap for growth, impact, and sustainability.
Our guiding principles are organized around a three-pronged action plan, which is designed to:
- Grow our legal services team
- Enhance visibility through intentional outreach
- Stay the course
