LALDEF’s FUTURO is a high-impact mentoring program centered in Trenton and Princeton that gives promising high school students in the greater Mercer County area the opportunity to engage in personal, academic, professional, and wellness development.

WHO CAN APPLY?

To qualify for FUTURO, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a first- or second-generation immigrant student
  • Be a high school sophomore (10th grade) in Mercer County
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0

REQUIRED APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Applicants much provide:

  • Student’s demographic information
  • Personal essay
  • Two teacher recommendations
  • Proof of household income
  • School transcript
  • Proof of address

NEXT STEPS AFTER SUBMISSION

Once all documents are successfully submitted, qualified applicants may be invited to an in-person interview with a parent or legal guardian.
